The Glistening Waters is another of Jamaica’s marvels of natural wonder. This radiant lagoon cove is known as a captivating and tranquil attraction. The water “glows” whenever it is disturbed, as a result of the millions of Dino Flagellates in the lagoon water. The “Glistening Waters” attraction can be found just outside of Montego Bay, in the historical town of Falmouth. Luminous lagoon is said to be the biggest and most brilliant of only 4 luminous lagoons in the world.
Night cruises on this luminous lagoon is popular for romantic evenings. You will be in awe to see the clear waters light up like millions of fireflies as your boat wades the surface, disturbing the water into exciting ripples.
